We loose too many good men like your brother in these wars. Freedom comes at a very high price. God Bless all of them.

Dan and I were on the same crew for awhile in WWII. I have great fondness and respect for Dan, his wife, and their family. This tribute to their son is very touching and a nice way to honor him. Well done!

I never met young Dan, but I do know his mother and father, as his dad and my Dad were on the same WWII airbase in England, and I have have never met a finer gentleman. I honor his son's memory and his supreme sacrifice.

I never met this man, but from what I have read, and what I know about him through his brother Rick. Dan obviously was loved buy his family and friends. He served his fellow marines with honor and made the greatest sacrifice to protect and defend them from further harm. As an American, and a former member of the U S Army, I salute him.

This letter and the description of his selfless acts will come as no surprise to anyone who knew Dan. That was simply Dan and the way he lived his life. The Thomas Jefferson Class of 1964 is very proud of Dan and our other heroes who lost their lives while serving their country.
